Emma believes she is a superb matchmaker and is determined to find the perfect boyfriend for her friend Harriet, but will Emma's matchmaking get in the way of finding her own happiness? Based on Jane Austen's classic novel, this show features hit songs both classic and contemporary from The Supremes to Katy Perry. Showing next Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7pm. Tickets available at the bookkeeping window now - $5 for students but FREE with an activity pass. FCCLA is Partnering with the Shawnee Heights Cares CLUB:We are having a Care Closet Drive: This is a T-Bird Time Competition by Wing (North and South). Can your T-Bird time raise the most items?Here is what we need: canned goods, boxed Mac and Cheese, Granola Bars, Trail Mix (Individually wrapped), socks, deodorant, gloves, winter hats, combs and brushes.Each T-Bird time should collect goods in a box (let Mrs. Morrison know if you need a box). All boxes should be turned into Mrs. Morrison N707, Thursday December 5th before 3pm. Teachers are welcome to send a student down with the box during 7th hour. December 11th the winning T-Bird time teacher in each wing will receive a $25 Walmart gift card and a donut party for the students.SHHS SHOE DRIVE – Please bring shoes that are in good condition, that you are no longer wearing, to the main office and drop them in the box that we have available for your donation! See your school counselor to gain access.ATTENTION Juniors and Seniors: Any student still looking for some direction after high school??? The ASVAB test is not required for high school graduation in any state across the US. It is simply one of several options available for high school students to take before graduation to explore their career interests and future opportunities. The ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) is a multiple-choice test used to determine qualification for enlistment in the United States Armed Forces, however ANYONE can take this test to help with career decisions. It measures your strengths, weaknesses and potential for future success in four domains: verbal, math, science and technical, and spatial. Those students interested in any of the military branches are recommended to sign up and take this test.We will be offering this to any interested junior or senior. You must sign up in the counseling center NO LATER than 10:00 a.m., January 6, 2025.
