  • Please congratulate the following students for placing at Highland Art Day:Katie Eller, Marissa Ruiz, Ava Harrison, and Isabel McBeth all earned the “Artistic Excellence” award.Ava Harrison, Marissa Ruiz, Mae Jordan, and Cooper Brown all earned an “Honorable Mention.”Trysten Barnes, Jaccyn Bugg, Baylee Hanson, and Paige Lindecrantz earned 3rd place in the art history competition.
  • Last week to buy prom tickets. You can buy tickets if you are on AWL and the detention list but you have to get off those lists before May 4.
  • Any students who would like to attend prom this year, must put themselves on the VIP list to be admitted into the venue. You can put yourself on the list by visiting the prom table during lunch and late start. You can purchase any necessary tickets at the same time. The list and ticket sales close this FRIDAY, April 26 so get your tickets and names on the list now.
  • The Shawnee Heights High School Drama Department will present the classic Neil Simon comedy Rumors on April 25, 26, and 27 at 7pm. When four couples show up to celebrate their friends’ 10th anniversary, they find the hosts either incapacitated or missing. The couples desperately try to keep rumors from spreading and trap themselves in a spiral of excuses and lies in the process. Tickets (available before the show) are only $5 and FREE for students with an activity pass.   • SHHS Students: The prom is on Sat., May 4th and the outside date forms are now available in the main office. Last day to sign up your outside date is Friday, April 26th. Office Scheid must have the forms returned to him by Monday, April 29th.
  • ATTN SHHS STUDENTS: Driver Education information is now available in the main office. Please stop by the office and pick up your packet and return it as soon as possible. Deadline has been extended.
  • Prom is May 4. To attend Juniors and Seniors must be off the AWL and served all detention hours and they have to put themselves on the VIP list.
  • To get on the VIP list, starting April 15-April 26 there will be a table in the cafeteria during lunch and late start that where students can get on the VIP list and purchase tickets.
  • Seniors are free but need to be put on the VIP/admit listJuniors are $20 and will need to purchase a ticket and be put on the listOutside dates will also be $20 dollars and they need to be put on the list and the outside date form due to the office by April 26 (we will have the forms at the table)Sophomore dates will also be $20 and put on the list. 9th grade date will not be granted admission this yearOutside dates and sophomore dates will not be admitted to the dance without the junior or senior who signed them up escorting them.
  • Tickets may be purchased by Cash or electronically at the table. Tickets purchased electronically will be charged an extra $1 convenience fee. .Off-campus students there will be a link made available for you to purchase tickets and be put on the VIP list online.

Reminder that you have to be off the AWL and have all your detention time made up to attend prom.
