  • Congratulations to Max Esquibel for qualifying for the State Cross-Country Championship meet this Saturday.
  • Congratulations to Camden Granado for setting the school record for goals in a season and career goals.Come out Thursday Oct 30th to cheer on the T-bird soccer team as they play for a regional championship. First 30 students get in free to the game. Kickoff is 6pm at Bettis family sports complex.
  • Congratulations to our Unified Basketball team. They won both of their games in their Tournament this past weekend at Washburn Rural. They beat Lawerence 34-21 and Washburn rural 54-26.They came away with the gold medal from the tournament.

  • SHHS TUTORING – Wednesday mornings (high schoolers ONLY) in the Library. Sign up with QR code posted around the building.
  • Attention Fall sport athletes that are done with football or soccer, you are expected to be at basketball workouts for the remainder of the week.
  • Tomorrow is the day for tattoo attack! You will be able to buy tattoos before school or during lunch. You can take it to the staff member you choose before school, during passing periods or when you are in their classroom. You can't get out of class to take a tattoo to someone. This is one a day attack so bring your money tomorrow. 50 cents for one tattoo or three for $1.   • FCCLA will be selling Ghoula Grams for $1, $2 to keep it anonymous before/ after school in Mrs. Morrison room N707. These will be delivered on October 29th during TBird time!
  • Unfortunately, mother nature did not work in our favor this weekend. We will now reschedule our event to this Saturday, November 1st. This still helps support the Shawnee Heights Orchestra. If you have already purchased tickets, we will honor them on the new date. The event runs from 6-9pm and now features the band Switch in Time and food trucks Top City Kolache, Poppin' Squeeze, Twisted Treats, Unique Treats, and of course a Haunted Corn Maze. Orchestra students will be dressed in their scariest costumes to give you a fright! 😊Additionally, you will be able to participate in all that Shively Farms has to offer!   • Good Morning Students, The coffee shop is OPEN and located in the south commons. We will be open Wednesday-Friday before the first bell. This is also going to be our first year accepting cards, we are no longer cash only! We expect to be busy, so if you want to guarantee getting something before class starts, the earlier you show up, the better.
  • You can travel with Frau Becker to Italy during Spring Break of 2028. This trip is open to students, parents, grandparents and other friends of the district. Please see Frau Becker in room 615 for more information.
