  • Thank you to all the students and staff that donated their time, talents, and even their classrooms to make our 5A/6A Regional Solo and Ensemble Festival a huge success!Mr. Carr would like to congratulate all who participated!
  • Congratulations to vocal soloists Justus Becker, Jaidyn Fountaine, Jaxon Schroeder, Laura Sobba, Wren Smith, Fiona Stevenson, and Ty Thompson for receiving a Superior (One) Rating. They will be competing again at the state competition.
  • Congratulations to vocal soloists Jean Busby, Aiden Corner, Macy Durbin, Leia Farias, Gretchen Morelington, Connall Stevenson for receiving an Excellent (Two) Rating.
  • Congratulations to Choraliers, The Choraliers Treble Voices, and the Choraliers Tenor/Bass Ensemble. All three Ensembles received a Superior (One) Rating and will perform at the state competition.
  • Congratulations to soloists Madison Teal, Noah Allen, Hannah Strole, Cristian Lopez, and Shelby Watson for an Excellent (II) Rating this past weekend at Regional Solo and Ensemble Festival.Congrats to soloists Zoë Billau, Izzy Hall, Adyson Ping, Ruby Shrock, and the Shawnee Heights Chamber Orchestra for an Superior (I) Rating. These students will travel to Salina for State Solo and Ensemble on April 27th!Thank you to all volunteers who helped out this weekend. This event would not be possible without you!
  • Any students who would like to attend prom this year, must put themselves on the VIP list to be admitted into the venue. You can put yourself on the list by visiting the prom table during lunch and late start. You can purchase any necessary tickets at the same time. The list and ticket sales close next FRIDAY, April 26 so get your tickets and names on the list now.
  • The Shawnee Heights High School Drama Department will present the classic Neil Simon comedy Rumors on April 25, 26, and 27 at 7pm. When four couples show up to celebrate their friends’ 10th anniversary, they find the hosts either incapacitated or missing. The couples desperately try to keep rumors from spreading and trap themselves in a spiral of excuses and lies in the process. Tickets (available before the show) are only $5 and FREE for students with an activity pass. Don’t miss this fast-paced and funny farce!
  • SHHS Students: The prom is on Sat., May 4th and the outside date forms are now available in the main office. Last day to sign up your outside date is Friday, April 26th. Office Scheid must have the forms returned to him by Monday, April 29th.
  • ATTN SHHS STUDENTS: Driver Education information is now available in the main office. Please stop by the office and pick up your packet and return it as soon as possible. Deadline has been extended.
  • Prom is May 4. To attend Juniors and Seniors must be off the AWL and served all detention hours and they have to put themselves on the VIP list.
  • To get on the VIP list, starting April 15-April 26 there will be a table in the cafeteria during lunch and late start that where students can get on the VIP list and purchase tickets.
