First Lunch Cleanup – is Mr. Ingwerson's class Second Lunch Cleanup - is Mr. Simon's class On Monday, April 14th @ 2:45 in the South CommonsMadison Morris will be signing to Coffeyville Community College for volleyball Today is the last day to sign up for Air National Guard Coyte Day's field trip at Forbes Field on April 24!Sign up in the counseling office to visit and experience the careers the military has to offer.The Shawnee Heights Band is inviting new members to our high school Color Guard. This group adds visual effect and choreography to high school band performances. The Color Guard will be hosting audition clinics after school this coming week, March 31st through April 3rd. Auditions will take place after school on April 4th. All interested students should come to the band room after school on Monday to see what the Color Guard is all about and begin learning flag and rifle moves. No previous experience is necessary – just a great attitude and willingness to learn. Contact Mr. Wingerson with any questions. Come join the color guard family for next year!Attention Students: The Driver Education application forms are now available in the main office. Please stop by and pick one up if you are interested in taking the program this summer at SHHS. Students- blood drive is next Tuesday! Please sign up at lunch. You must be at least 16 years old to sign up. SHHS Thunderettes is having their ANNUAL EGG MY YARD fundraiser for the SH Dance Team. SHHS Post Prom pajama Party tickets are available on Tuesdays and Fridays here in the Cafeteria (3/25. 3/28, 4/1, 4/4, 4/8, 4/11). Date is May 3rd from 11PM to 2AM. $25 each – ticket must be purchased by 4/22. Included: Games, Inflatables, Casino, DJ, Prizes, Breakfast Food & drinks. Prom is around the corner--May 3, 2025. Tickets will go on sale on April 14. Reminder you have to be off the AWL and Tardy lists to be allowed to attend prom. More information will be coming in future weeks!Seniors---have you finished the FAFSA yet? In order for you to have the best financial aid package that will include scholarships, grants, and loans, you must complete the FAFSA. If you have any questions or need help completing the FAFSA your Counseling Team has the answers. Next Tuesday, April 1st at 10:00 a financial aid advisor will be here to provide assistance to any seniors. No matter the college you plan to attend we can help. Stop by the Counseling Center to sign up to visit with the Financial Aide Advisor. FBLA Dodgeball Tournament will be April 16, 2025 in the SHHS South Gym. This will be a co-ed tournament to fundraise for FBLA. Two female and male players need to be on the court on all times. The winning team will receive a $10 gift certificate for the coffee shop and a trophy. Scan the QR code on the posters around the school to register your team.Attention to all students: You can travel with Frau Becker to England, Ireland and Wales during Spring Break of 2026.
